The part nobody says out loud

Maybe you took the class. You were excited, you took notes, you watched the install, maybe you got an hour hands-on. Then you drove home… and you had more questions than you walked in with.

Or maybe you’ve never installed a row at all, and every time you look at what it would take to start, it feels like a wall you don’t have time to climb.

Either way, the hair sits in the kit. And you keep telling clients you’re “not really doing extensions right now.”

I want to be really clear about something. That is not you failing.

That’s a math problem. Nobody can teach you the install, custom colouring, seamless blending, scalp health, cutting, home care and how to price the whole thing in eight hours. There isn’t time. So the format teaches you the install and sends you home without the parts that make it a service you can actually sell.

You don’t need to do more… you need to be taught the whole thing.

What this method actually does for your client

Hidden bead isn’t just another way to attach hair. It changes what your client’s life with extensions looks like.

Up to eight weeks of wear. Not eight weeks of it slowly giving up. No mini move-up because a corner slipped or the row dropped… it stays where you put it, and they come back when they’re supposed to.

They can wear it straight. No “just curl it and it’ll blend.” Straight, flat, undetectable… which is the only honest test of a blend there is.

It’s comfortable. No tension headaches, no sore spots, nothing they can feel when they sleep.

They can wear it up. Ponytail, bun, whatever they want… and nobody sees a thing.

It fills in the hairline. No hybrid method, no stacking a second technique on top to cover what the first one can’t reach.

It protects their hair and their scalp. Healthy at week eight, not just pretty on day one.

Nobody can tell. That’s what the blend is for, and it’s what gets you referred.

Here’s the part that matters though. Every single one of those depends on how it’s installed. A row placed wrong, tensioned wrong or blended badly delivers none of it… and your client is the one who finds out at week three, when it’s slipping and their scalp is sore.

That is exactly why this class is two days instead of one.

“It’s so different from other extension classes. In the last extension class I took, there was almost this normalization of telling your clients to take ibuprofen beforehand to prepare for the pain. After having this method done on myself, I realized I should never have to tell a client that.”
Student · June 28–29 class
“I’ve noticed such a difference in scalp health, tension, and overall hair integrity at move-up appointments. I highly recommend her education to any stylist wanting to grow in extensions.”
Jessica · Hidden Bead Method student
This is not a cookie-cutter method

Most training teaches you a sequence. Do this, then this, then this. Which works right up until a client walks in whose head doesn’t match the sequence.

We teach you the why behind every choice. Why this weft and not that one. Why this placement on this density. Why that corner keeps slipping and what to do differently.

Because you will never see the same head twice, and a method you can’t adapt isn’t a method. It’s a recipe.

“You really understand why you’re doing what you’re doing instead of just doing the same thing on everybody.”
McKenna · June 8 class
“What I love about this method is no two installs are the same… looking at the scalp, color, elasticity, density, and placement, we can customize the perfect install.”

What you walk away with
The pre-training
  • Opens 45 days before class, with lifetime access.
  • Weft types, row counts, row placement, scalp anatomy, formulating, and the consultation framework.
  • Four structured submissions with feedback directly from Stella.
  • A live Zoom check-in partway through.
  • You arrive prepared instead of catching up. It’s the reason two days can go as deep as they do.
Two days, hands on
  • Custom colouring extensions … rooting and balayage lowlights, including on your own hair.
  • Selecting wefts for a seamless blend.
  • Row placement, scalp health and tension.
  • Live hidden bead installation, coached the entire way.
  • Three different bead placements for the corners. Corners are where rows fail, and one placement doesn’t fit every head.
  • Cutting extensions live … razor and slide, creating seamless movement and body.
  • Consultation and home care.
  • Pricing and marketing your extension services for profit.
  • An educator to student ratio of roughly one to two. You are never waiting for help.
Your hair and your kit
  • $935 of KOMI Genius Wefts. Five wefts, 18 inch, installed on you on day two. You leave wearing your own work.
  • Genius Wefts are our most premium weft, designed to last up to a year … which is why they go on your head rather than on something you practice on and throw away.
  • Three wefts for custom colouring practice.
  • A KOMI kit, handed to you in class.
  • Ongoing wholesale access through your KOMI Pro account.
The business build
  • The Profitable Extensions course … a $449 value, included.
  • The pricing toolkit.
  • Guides and templates you’ll actually use behind the chair.
And then it doesn’t end
  • Lifetime access to the course library. Custom colouring, cutting, choosing wefts, pricing … yours for as long as you’re doing hair.
  • A Shadow Day at KOMI Salon, Las Vegas. An $800 value, included. Come work a day in my salon if something still isn’t clicking.
  • A cohort call two to three weeks after class, once you’ve quoted a real client and the questions get specific.
  • Ongoing support from the KOMI education team, for as long as you need it. No extra cost, ever.
  • Your KOMI Certified Hidden Bead Stylist credential.

“Oh my God, it just goes into so much detail. There’s no little thing left out. Everything is pieced together and you have so many ‘aha’ moments.”
Kenz · June 28–29 class
You will not be sent home with the hard parts missing,
and you will not be on your own afterward.
You don’t need to find a model

Everyone in the room is a licensed stylist, and you work on each other. One row on your partner, one row on you.

That means no scrambling to find someone, no no-shows, and no guessing at a stranger’s density from a phone photo. It also means you get to feel a row go in, which teaches you more about tension than any demo ever will.

You’ll be paired at the end of day one, once we’ve seen everyone work. Your hair is ordered for your own head, so nothing about the pairing changes what you bought.

What the two days actually look like
Day one · colour, blend, and the business

You’ll colour three practice wefts first, get them washed and dried while you eat, then look at exactly what happened and why… before you touch the hair going on your own head. Then you’ll custom colour your own install hair, with educators on the floor the whole time.

You’ll also cover selecting wefts for a seamless blend, live consultation, home care, pricing, marketing, and row placement and scalp tension. Then a full row of practice on a doll head.

Day two · install and cut

Live install demo, then a cutting demo… razor and slide, on a doll head and on a person. Another practice row of your own, and cutting practice you can actually dig into.

Then the real thing. You’ll install a full row on your partner and cut it, then they’ll install on you and cut yours. Nearly two hours each way, with educators on the floor throughout. Nobody is rushed and nobody is left waiting.

By the time you install on a person, it’s your fourth row… not your first. That’s the whole design.

“On a mannequin I was still kind of like, I don’t know if I can take a real client. But after doing it on a real person, and having everyone there to show us what to look for, I really feel like I can customize it to my clients and keep their scalp healthy.”
McKenna · June 8 class
The investment math
How fast you make this back

I want to be honest about what this looks like in real numbers.

A new extension install$1,200 – $2,500+
Move-ups, per row$150 – $250, three to four times a year
Ten extension clients over six monthsaround $33,600

One install covers most of your seat. Two covers it entirely. And every client you install becomes someone who comes back three or four times a year, for years.

That’s not a service. That’s a retention plan.

Here’s what actually stops people though. It isn’t the maths. It’s that you can’t charge properly for a service you’re only half confident in… and confidence is the thing a one-day class can’t give you.

“The business theory, bundling, pricing, and understanding your margins really upgrades the level that you’re already at.”
Elizabeth · June 8 class
What stylists are saying
“Some of my girls have already done other weft training and your training has been so much easier for them to understand and it’s clicking a lot better. Your teaching style, how you have everything laid out… it’s actually clicking.”
Maddie · salon owner
“Stella was and is an amazing mentor. Over three days we went over scalp care and health, extension methodology, custom colouring wefts, pricing, install flow, doll head work, and hands-on live models. I can’t thank you enough.”
Antonietta Canzano
“You want them to leave looking perfectly blended… but you also want them to come back looking perfectly blended.”
Lindsey · June 28–29 class
“Stella and her whole team are so patient. The way they teach is very hands-on, which for me was amazing.”
Student · June 28–29 class
“I’ve taken other classes before, but this one was the most hands on and easy to understand. My clients constantly tell me how lightweight and comfortable their hair feels.”
Aillean · @aillean.komihair · KOMI educator
Why now, and why here

For about two years, stylists on the East Coast have asked me to come teach.

And for two years I said not yet. Not because I didn’t want to… because I was building my salon, and I wasn’t willing to do either one of them halfway.

That’s changed. The location worked out, the team at Salon Yvonne Nicole made it easy, and honestly… it was a no-brainer for us.

My educator team is flying out with me. It’s one room, it’s a small one, and I’m not making it bigger.

“I traveled to Las Vegas to learn from Stella. Understanding the why behind weft extensions makes all the difference in comfort, longevity, and protecting your natural hair.”

Is this for you
  • You’ve never installed extensions at all and you want to start properly, not by guessing.
  • You’ve taken an extension class before and still don’t feel ready to take clients.
  • You’re already doing a beaded method, but your clients’ scalp health isn’t where you want it to be.
  • You’re doing mini move-ups because rows loosen and corners slip, and you’d rather they just… didn’t.
  • You’ve been telling clients to curl their hair so it blends. You want them to wear it straight and have nobody know.
  • You can install a row, but your extensions still look like extensions… and you know it.
  • Your current method can’t fill in a hairline, so you’re stacking hybrid methods to get there.
  • You want to be the go-to extension artist in your city… and you know that reputation gets built on healthy installs, not fast ones.

This isn’t for you if

  • You’re installing hidden bead weekly and you’re confident in it. Message me instead… a VIP Workday will serve you better than this room will.
  • You’re not licensed. This is a professional class on professional hair.
Questions people actually ask
I already took a hidden bead class. Is this a repeat?

Probably not, and here’s how to tell. Six things make an extension service sellable: install, custom colouring, seamless blending and cutting, row placement and scalp health, home care, and pricing. Most classes are one day, which is only enough time for the install. Which of the six did yours cover? And can you still go back to it?

I’ve never installed extensions at all. Am I in over my head?

No. Your pre-training starts 45 days out, you’ll have done multiple full rows on a doll head before you touch a person, and there’s an educator on the floor the entire time. This class is built for the stylist who isn’t confident yet. That’s the whole point of it.

What if I’m slower than everyone else?

You have nearly two full hours for your row, and nobody is watching the clock but us. If you finish early there’s more for you to do. If you need all of it, you have all of it. That extra time is exactly why it’s there.

Do I need to bring a model?

No. Everyone in the room is a stylist and you work on each other… one row on your partner, one row on you. Pairs are set at the end of day one.

Is the hair really included?

Yes, and it’s not practice hair. $935 of KOMI Genius Wefts … five wefts, 18 inch, installed on you on day two. Genius is our most premium weft and it’s designed to last up to a year, so you walk out wearing something you’d be happy to have done on a client. Plus three wefts for colouring practice and a KOMI kit in class.

Do you send me tools?

No. We’ll send you a list of what to bring… and if you’ve taken an extension class before, you’ll likely already own most of it. Your KOMI kit is handed to you in class.

Do I have to do the pre-training?

Yes, and it’s the reason the two days can go as deep as they do. It opens 45 days before class and you’ll need it done before you arrive.

Can I pay over time?

Yes. Klarna and Afterpay are both available at checkout, with immediate access.

What if I need to cancel?

All sales are final, but your seat is fully transferable to another licensed stylist with 14 days notice, so we can order their hair in time. We invest in every student before class, which is what that policy protects. If we ever had to cancel, you’d receive a full refund.

What if I’m still stuck after the class?

Then you come to Las Vegas and shadow me for a day in my salon. Your courses don’t expire, there’s a cohort call a few weeks after, and the KOMI education team is there for as long as you need… at no extra cost, ever. Getting taught isn’t the hard part. Getting home and actually doing it is.

Limited to twelve stylists

Most of this industry takes home less than $30k a year. High end is around $75k. Over $100k take-home puts you in the top 5 to 10%.

And the difference isn’t talent. It’s not that they do better hair than you.

It’s that they learned the whole service, and they priced it like a business instead of guessing.

You’re not just a stylist. You’re a business.

Come get the whole thing.
“I was a little bit of a weft skeptic. But now, having had it in my own hair, I trust it for my clients. It’s really changed my mind about it. I would say, do it.”
